What is GOHI?

The Global One Health Index (GOHI) is a quantitative framework developed by the School of Global Health of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in collaboration with the Chinese Center for Tropical Diseases Research (China CDC IPD), under the aegis of the One Health Working Group of the WFPHA.

The index evaluates One Health performance of each country across eight interconnected dimensions: External Driver Index (EDI), Intrinsic Driver Index (IDI), Co-benefit Index (CBI), Governance, Zoonoses, Food Safety, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Climate Change.

GOHI 2025 is the third edition of the index, integrating updated data for 195 countries and territories.
